The welcome screen will be the first thing you see after finishing the Setup Wizard. It contains the eBay Add-on task menu. The page is called eBay_home.asp: make sure to bookmark it in your browser.
Preferences: This page allows you to select options before you create your listings so that the options are pre-filled when you go to list products. We recommend setting all preferences before you get started to save time listing your products. View Preferences for more information about this page.
Seller Details: Here you can enter details about your business. This information can then be added to your Custom Listing Layouts by using smart tags. View Seller Details for more information about this page.
Custom Listing Layouts: Here you can save
HTML Layout Designs, which can be used with smart tags to generate very attractive eBay Listings. The smart tags are simple placeholders for your Seller and Product Details. The tags are replaced with real information when you post your item on eBay. View Custom Listing Layouts for more information about this page.
Storefront Settings: The page allows you display your eBay listing or other sellers’ eBay listings on your ProductCart-powered storefront. If you are an eBay Affiliate you can earn commissions for referring customers to the eBay Site. View Storefront Settings for more information about this page.
The eBay Add-on provides a number of ways to create and post listings on eBay. The only option available when you first get started is “New Listing from Product”. View Creating a Listing for instructions.
New Listing from Product: This link starts the Listing Wizard. Here you can create a single Listing, or a Listing Template to use for bulk uploading listings. This step is required and there are help icons to guide you along the way.
This option allows you to use the eBay Add-on in a testing environment to become experienced with the listing process, without incurring the fees that you would have to pay for real listings. The steps to activate your testing account are the same as the ones used when you activated the eBay Add-on. However, you must have a “sandbox account” with eBay in order to activate test mode.

Once you’ve set your settings and created your first listing, the menu on the eBay Add-on Welcome page will include other links.
The Manage Listings page displays information about all of your eBay Listings. You can filter through the listing using the statuses below. You must have created at least one listing to view this page.
Active: Shows all Active Listings posted on eBay through the use of the ProductCart eBay Add-on. It does not show other listings that you might have posted on eBay outside of the Add-on (e.g. directly on eBay or through another application).
Completed: Shows Listings that have ended and for which final pricing has been calculated.
Ended: Shows Listings that have ended, but for which eBay is still calculating pricing details. This status will not be common.
Pending: Shows listings that have not been posted to eBay. This includes all the listings that you may have created, but not yet posted to eBay. You can easily view, edit, and then post Pending listings.
The ProductCart eBay Add-on provides a number of ways to create and post listings on eBay. The only option available when you first get started is “New Listing from Product”. View Creating a Listing for instructions. After the first listing has been created, the following options become available:
New Listing from Product: This link starts the Listing Wizard. Here you can create a single Listing, or a Listing Template to use for bulk uploading listings. This step is required and there are help icons to guide you along the way.
New Listing from Draft: This link starts the Listing Wizard from the point you left off. You must have saved a Draft to view this option. You can save a draft when you create a new listing, but decide to finish the work later. A link at the bottom of each page of the listing process allows you to easily save a draft.
Clone Template: This link will clone your template and allow you to create a listing, or edit the template so you can save it as a new template.
Bulk Upload: This link will allow you to apply a template to a number of products and list them all at once. This tool allows you to save a substantial amount of time when listing similar products.
You can easily toggle test/live mode. As mentioned earlier, you need to setup an eBay Sandbox Account to use the eBay Add-on in test mode.
Not all tasks are available when you first get started. For example, Power Users seeking a bulk upload feature should note that they must first create a listing template to use this feature. Creating templates is an easy task and is fully explained later in this guide. For now, please read over the options available when you first get started.
